When is Missoula’s International Choral Festival?
Our Festival typically takes place every three years, with a few exceptions when we bump it four years between Festivals, which is the case with the 9th Festival.  Our next Festival takes place 17-20, 2013.  Assuming we revert to the three year cycle, the 10th Festival will follow in July of 2016.

How is the International Choral Festival funded?
The Festival is only possible due to the generosity, hospitality, and volunteer spirit of hundreds of Missoula businesses, families, and individuals! We rely on grants, corporate sponsorships, cash contributions, merchandise sales, and the donation of in-kind goods and services in order to offset the costs of operating the Festival.

How can I find a concert schedule?
A concert schedule can be found by clicking here, and will be published in the official program book which will be available in July 2013.  Please note that because of the international nature of this event, schedules are tentative and are subject to change at any time.  Check our website for the latest schedule updates.

How much does it cost to attend Choral Festival concerts?
All concerts on opening day of the Festival (Wednesday, July 17, 2013) are free of charge.  Thereafter, an admission button serves as a pass to all remaining Choral Festival concerts. Admission buttons may be purchased on our website after July 1, 2013; at Missoula outlets (to be listed on the ICF home page as the Festival nears), and at all "Pre-View" Concerts on July 17th. The price is $15.00 per person. Children 12 & under are free (persons over 12 attending a concert must have a button for entry). Buttons are non-refundable and non-replaceable.

May I take photographs or make audio or video recordings of Festival performances?
The use of all audio and video recording devices, including cameras and cell phones, is not permitted during Festival performances unless done by official Choral Festival Staff, who will wear identification badges. Unauthorized users of such equipment will be asked to leave the concert.

Am I allowed to reserve seats for Choral Festival concerts?
Unfortunately, no advanced reservations may be made for seating at any Choral Festival event. Please arrive early in order to secure needed seats.

When will concert venues be open for seating?
All venues will open 30 minutes before announced concert times.

May I bring my children to Choral Festival concerts?
The International Choral Festival is truly a family event and we encourage people of all ages to attend. Keep in mind, however, that many Festival concerts will be professionally recorded and that noise from infants and toddlers can ruin the quality and distract the performing groups. Please note that young children must be supervised while attending Festival events.

Will I need a parking permit for events held on the University of Montana campus?
There is no charge to park on campus on either Saturday or Sunday. Normally, parking on campus during weekdays in the summer requires the purchase of a Visitor's Pass, however the Choral Festival has made special arrangements with the UM Safety and Security Office and the Missoula Parking Commission. Festival attendees will be allowed to park on campus at no charge during concert times on Thursday and Friday, July 18-19, excluding reserved spaces, which remain in effect. You are advised to heed special signs that mark handicapped and delivery vehicle parking. Cars will be towed when parked illegally.

I am considering becoming a host family. What will be expected of me?
Hosting responsibilities include providing lodging, breakfasts, lunches and some dinners, and transportation to and from rehearsals and performances. Where can I purchase Choral Festival T-shirts, posters, and other merchandise?
You may purchase items online by clicking here, and ICF merchandise will be available for purchase at most concert venues during the Festival.

Where can I find recordings of Choral Festival choirs?
A 2-CD set featuring the participating choirs of the 2013 Festival will be produced and can be ordered in advance by completing and submitting an order form by clicking here, or which can be obtained at concert venues.

Where can I locate the "Lost-and-Found" during Festival week?
The Lost-and-Found Department will be located in the temporary headquarters at MCT during the Festival. After July 21, all lost items will be transferred to the permanent Choral Festival office (312 East Pine Street).
